I've just bought a decent 4.5 grade pre-facelift EK9 with low mileage, cuz I couldnt find a facelift in this condition.. now I want to facelift the car myself im gonna get a facelift front bumper, facelift front fenders, and a carbon hood OEM style Facelift and some headlights facelift.. that's easy to do and I know how to..

don't need to change the rear or anything, but now my question was if it's hard to change the dash to a facelift one ? cuz I really don't like the sliders for the A/C and I want a double DIN radio, and the round turning knobs for the A/C anyone perhaps know how to do this ? and if it's alot of work and hard to do ?

thanks !

For the heater controls you have to change the whole heater matrix as the slider use a cable whereas the knobs don't, a big job and no worth it IMO.:nono:

hmm, thanks for the info on what I'll have to do. you sure it aint worth it ? :p cuz I really dont like the sliders tbh hehe :p and the most important thing for me tbh is to have the 2 din spaces, maybe I can move the A/C controls to the lower din slot in the car.. hmm i'll see when it arrives :D can't wait :p

I think you will find the bonnet slam panel is also different. (where the lower bumper brackets are and the wing mounts under the head light are different)

:nono: Why oh why didnt you just get a face lift. Your car is going to be so bodged up and totally unoriginal by the time it is finished. It is going to loose alot of its value:angry:
Dunx

well the importer where I bought my EK9 recently did a front end conversion on a pre-facelift ek9 and it was easy he said.. but I can only tell what I'm gonna do exactly once I got the car.. I think the Titanium catback will be the 1st thing.. and some nice wheels..

Alot of people may also think the car was crashed. Your gonna have a hard time to convince them that you just preferred the face lift front. Not worth it IMO:((

keep it as it is if you wanted a facelift you should have saved more dosh for it as everyone else said not woth it :nono: i have a pre facelift and would'nt wanna change it :nice:

yeah but this pre-facelift's specs were too good to pass on, but I'll see how it looks when I get it and see where I'm going from there maybe I'll keep it pre-lift but im not sure :p
