Hi all,

Id like to give my EK3 saloon a small but comfortable -20mm-25mm drop.
And think that EK9 shocks & springs might be my best bet.

This car is a family daily driver which will be used for school & nursery runs 5 days a week & for work so retaining comfort is a must.

I've had -30mm Eibach on standard shocks on my old vti coupe & that wasn't bad. OVer time it dropped lower than -30mm & was too low.

So How do you all rate EK9 suspension in terms of daily driver comfort ?

P.S If anyone near heathrow (or within an hours drive) can take me for a 5 min spin in theirs with standard Suspension that would be great.

it's fine (for ek4 anyway)
just comfy enough, even with the hard toyo r1r tires i drive
great difference in body roll to :nice:

Thx

Do you think my front end will be too high compared to the back
Because of the lighter weight of my D15 engine compared to ek9 engine ?
Plus the saloon boot addin more weight to the back.

I had ek9 shocks and springs on my ek3, small drop but still sat pretty high, i dont think your front will sit to high in comparison to the rear.

Upgrade the rear arb as well as ek9 shocks and springs and youll get a nice tight but comfortable handling setup.

Thx guys

That's pretty much confirmed everything for me.

Im gonna have a look around
Are there any good places you can recommend to buy from ?

a friend had them on his ej9 and the car sat too high. Wouldn't recommend them. You can find progressive springs of simiral rates to the ek9 ones.
