those rear axle stands are hanging about tehre for saftey teh car was still resing on teh jacks whilst i worked :)

Looks good.

If you would be so kind, when it's all done and finished, could you post a few pictures of the car so I can see the look of the arches with the mouldings on them?!

Just want to see how much they stand out.

Good work though, but I personally would have had the car resting on the axel stands and not balanced over them. lol

ha tehre wasnt really anywhere to put them at teh back,, was on stands at teh front,, not a problem!! you cant really see those arch trims,, did teh Cam belt on teh car this weekend and fitted my ES engine mount inserts too,,

Hi mate looks good but i put those rubber rear arch guards on from honda on my and they tend to do more harm than good they do stop stones from the tyre treads chipping the paint off ,but in the winter they tend to harbour the salt and moisture !! ive now took mine off as my friend also had them on his ek9 and now his arch has rusted badly

waxoyl is a wax coatin u can spray on the bottom of ur car to stop it from rustin....iam i rite in thinkin u lads in england still salt the roads??

What am I looking at? Is waxoyl the "golden overspray"?
I take it this is different to underseal (black in colour when sprayed) ?

Halfords? Although i'm sure you'll be able to get it cheaper somewhere else...

that must be a pain in the a** if ur buyin cars over there tryin to find ones wit little or no rust....its hard enuf over here an we dont salt the roads...but then again iv VERY high standards wen it comes to rust on cars.

Nice thread! is it ok with you to move this thread to the resource area forum?

Thanks for sharing mate!

Just infront of the tow-hook there is a jacking place. you can jack it up high from there and use the rear-jackign points for the axles stands with the front wheels chocked! you can even put a single one on that jacking point and lift the car the way youve done it :nice:
