First trip to the track in the EK9. It was a busy open track night and the sun was blinding in parts. Don't know why I haven't done this sooner though. Pics...

In a different league:

View from the track:

Took some footage of the laps. GoPro's are great, although the battery died before the night finished. The glare from sun ruined most of the footage but managed to get a few clips.

My first two laps in anger:

Be kind... Gear choice is poor in parts but reckon I managed to sort it out before the session ended.

Nice one :nice:

You will be stripping it out and putting a cage in soon

Looks great mert. Nice pics also need to get a track night sorted for the forum .

Stunning picture of the view.. Wish i never looked at this now, jealous i cant get up to track nights or anything in the sun just now(two broken legs) :(

good footage pal, just out of interest what brake pads you using, and do you rate them?

nice hoody, sitting too high at the back son need some nice springs to settle in down a little

car looks swweeettt

Looks great Martin. :nice:

Out of curiosity, how did you mount your GoPro?

Hoping to use one for my trackday end of the month.

Nice one.

First time out is always an experience and a half. Wait til you get used to it and know exact gears and entry speeds etc that the car can go in at maximum, makes it right exciting

Now you have done your 1st one, the piggy bank will empty fast:nice:

Cheers Folks :thanks:

I was the guy in the red dc2 btw, was a good day at knockhill!

Car looked very good man. Definitely had the legs on me down the straights. Was a great evening :nice:

clean example :nice: was it your first day on track?

Yeah first track day...Have done a track experience thing at Silverstone in the past but thats as far as my experience goes.

Running EP3 front calipers, 300mm discs and Ferodo ds2500 pads. The set up is great but can only compare to my previous oem set up.

Nonsence, Car is remaining as primarily a road car. Changing the suspension would not be practical and if it was ever to get done will need to be done properly.

Looks great Martin. :nice:

Sent you a text man... Will try and get a photo of it mounted for you.
