alright lads,

last night after a bit of messing with a buddy my engine check light came on when i slowed down:nono:

it was the first time it has come on and i was slowing down from about 160kph.

Anybody know why this might have happened??

I have recently fitted a 421 manifold and i was wondering would it have anythin to do with the sensor in the manifold if it wasnt connected properly???
:nerv:

i stopped the car for a while and when i started up again the light wasa gone

anybody know the reason for this???

cheers lads:nice:

I'm pretty sure that you will need a o2 sensor replacement soon :nice:

What you need is just to connect your ECU with a device that checks all sensors to see which has failed....:drive: I had the same problem with the exhaust sensor. You don't need to get upset buddy :D

im havign the same problem once ina while atm too ^__^,,

what i would recomend is take it to the honda dealership, i have a mate who works in the honda garage near my end and he just put the computer on for free for me, i duno how much it might cost you but its worth it, instead of you paying for something you might not even need. my engine light came on not long ago i took it down there and the computer said the cam shaft sensor had failed, there was 3 in the distributor and 1 had failed so i had to replace it, and after i did all was sorted. so i seriously think u should go down and get them to plug the honda computer in and it will tell u your problem.

-i would love to do that too, but sadly my B16B is in a del sol and without the original chassi number from that engine i can not go to a honda dealer and ask for a check up, they refuse and also say : * without the chassi number we do not know what program select to use to check the error*
I was a bit suprised i always tough the program to check error was universal type for the honda models included.

They do not make it easy for us here.

well i did the thing, but im not shure if its one error or two!
i get two long blinks and then two long more and a fast one, so its either error 2 (second o2 sensor)and 21(vtec solenoid) or its error 41 (O2sensor on the cat) how can we tell appart if its one or two errors? xD

Sounds like 41.

There is a very noticable gap between the reading of the codes.

Also...it's not that hard to tell if you are engaging VTEC properly.

Your correct :D but still i was worried since in the dyno with the b16b stock im missing 4hp ;___; (needs get ride of the cat xD)
