Just wondered if anyone had an engine crane to lend out at all in the Midlands area?

Seeming oddly difficult to find 1. Most local places not having 1 at all, or just not available and pushing dates back over n over. HSS wanting £75 a day + £190 deposit which isn't happening.

Thanks in advance :)

guessing you're just needing it for a quick engine swap job? if so just use a decent trolley jack, we never use engine cranes and its easy especially with two or more people. Get a block of wood under the sump so it doesnt damage anything ( in the middle where its shallower ). Line the engine up to roughly where it needs to be, one person jack it up and one person steady it and fixes the two side mounts, once there on its not going anywhere

Ive done a D series on my own and my mates done a B on his own but i dont recommend that, gets a bit sketchy lol
