Hi all, i took my 9 to a track day and had issues about engine rev cuting at circa 7krpm only on 2nd gear full throtle exiting corners, every single 2nd gear corner, engine was behaving like rev cut, ony during FULL throtle.

Its a standard B16b engine 205k km, no oil consumption issues, runned by a p30 JDM chipped ECU, advan AD08R tyres, modified OEM airbox with KN filter.
In track session car was HALF TANK filled.

Only hapenned before with OEM PCT ECU in 3rd gear 90 mph full throttle long corner 1/4 fuel tank, which was solved by filling up to 3/4 tank. This time, same corner, p30 ECU half tank, no problems.
Also hapenned with OEM ECU in 2nd gear full throttle corering and climbing, almost empty tank. NEVER HAPPENED on STRAIGHT LINE, even in reserve.

USING 98 octane petrol

Have you got an oil pressure gauge? I suspect this could be connected to low oil pressure, it is not uncommon for the oil to drain away from the oil pickup pipe in high lateral G situations (= hard cornering). VTEC is activated by oil pressure, when this drops the car will drop out of VTEC which I'd imagine would manifest as a rev cut if you were over 7k-ish RPM. Do you keep checking your engine oil level throughout the track day? Even healthy B16Bs use a fair bit of oil when tracked, mine doesn't smoke at all at any revs but I do keep an eye on the oil level and top it up if required. An oil pressure gauge and an oil temp gauge are a worthy investment if you have one, especially since you are in Portugal where it gets a good bit warmer than it does over here in Scotland!

I do have an oil temp gauge, oil temp stable around 85 C. No oil pressure gauge installed but baffled oil pan yes and as well oil level was normal before and after track session. I use Castrol Mangnatec 5w40.
