Does anyone know how I can get evo IV seats to fit in my 00 ej9, I'm right in saying ek9 rails will bolt straight in, but any cheaper methods rather than swapping rails?

DC2 rails will also fit, 3 out of the 4 bolts will line up or you could always mod your current rails.

Il test fit them with evo rails & try play about with them, will need to weld I guess

If you have evo rails you can probably make them fit by cutting the mounting tabs off and making brackets to allow them to sit in the right place. You'd need a pretty competant welder though - personally, although its more expensive, id buy ones that will bolt in 1st time and work as they were designed to. Ek9 rails would be the best option, dc2 ones are the next best but even they would need minor modification

Getting the seats today & my mates helping me take out tap welds on the evo rails and welding on ek mounts :) should be okay

I've got an old Evo seat rail that I was planning on modifying, the front tabs aren't far off In a civic at all it's just the back ones that need a bit more work

Does it matter if it's facelift or pre facelift the ek9 rails are out of. As I have facelift car will i need facelift ek9 rails? I've got a set of evos.

Lozzah it doesnt matter ek9 rails fit either ones...Dc2 and EG recaro rails work 3/4 holes line up fine...the 4th just takes about 10 mins to modify. :))..the Dc2 rails sit the seat a little lower than ek9 rails..
