Hello! I want to ask some questions about Intake and exhaust!
1) I want to know if Carbon Fiber Whale P***s intake are betterr than DC2 ITR OEM Airbox with OEM elbow or Comptech Icebox? Which one is better from these 3 air intakes? :)

2) And about exhaust i want to ask which one of all exhausts could be the best for B18C6 Engine? :) I don,t want loud exhaust, want exhaust with nice sound! :) And diameter which one could be the best for B18? :)
 
CT would be my first choice.

For the OEM DC2 Setup just know that the DC2 uses a slightly larger TB (OD and ID) so if you want the P73 Intake Arm to clamp nicely I'd get the matching TB. Very common misconception that the EK9 has the same TB as the DC2. It does not. Its the same as any B16.

Whale P is purely noise IMO. I've Sen anywhere from little to no gains to even loss of power.

Exhaust I would suggest nothing smaller than 2.5" or 63.5mm no matter if 1.6 or 1.8
Many will argue about being too big but if you want every bit of power you need to let it BREATHE.

Okey, but where can buy that CT intake? I know that DC2 have bigger throttle body, i have it, and it is ported just like Spoon Venturi! ;) So know i have Carbon Whale ***** intake, and i cant decide if it let stay or find and put DC2 ITR OEM Airbox with elbow or find that CT Airbox? That,s why i asked which one setup could be the best and give something! I am not hoping to get 10-15hp, but so just it would be easier engine to breath! ;)

Okey, but then you suggest me to build exhaust, because i havent seen ready exhaust system on 2.5", just 60mm or then bigger 70mm or 76mm, that big i don,t want! I looked on Skunk2 Megapower 60mm, but many say they are very loud, i don,t want loud, i want good sound so it come louder only on VTEC! :)
 
To get exactly what you want you pretty much need to custom make.

For intake I had pretty good results with the P73 Intake Arm and a 3.5" Velocity Stack stuffed in the front of it with a 6" Filter. No dump proof but head to head racing showed a small difference compared to the WP. I'm not sure where your located so I can't comment on where to get the CT intake.

As far as the exhaust, yes the S2 systems make a fair bit of noise. High Flow and minimal sound at a decent price will definitely need to be custom made. I had a system made in 2.5" with a Resonator in location of the CAT & where the factory Res sat in the B-Pipe with a full-size Oval Rear Muffler. Idle and Crusing were very much bareable while high RPM sounded great as well.

Again IDK where your located so I can't suggest anything as I don't know what's available to you.

I understand that i need to custom make! Just about intake now i can,t decide if find and try that CT engineering icebox or DC2 ITR OEM Airbox! :) Or just stay my Carbon Whale ***** induction kit! :) I am located in Latvia! :)

About exhaust,again i can,t decide if build exhaust or buy ready system! If i build, then need to know which one brand resonator put and rear silencer too, that sound would be nice! :) And you think that 2.5" 63.5mm exhaust diameter you think inner or outer? :)

Depends on who the manf. is. Some measure ID some measure OD. ID would be ideal.

I was personally gonna use Dynomax as it sounds decent, flows very well and is easy to get. IDK what's available to you.

For the intake my ideal setup would be a 4" VS to a 45* Reducer to a 3.5" Pipe to another 45* Reducer to 3" at the TB. But of course that's with no headlight at the track but that works wonders for power production.

If your not tuned I'd rather spend the money on a exhaust and tune before changing the intake.

OO, i have PLM TODA manifold! And now i have 60mm exhaust,but it is outer diameter, and inner ir 58mm, something that! But exhaust is burned out and is come old and loud, that,s why i want to build or buy new exhaust system! :)

I am looking on Magnaflow mufler and resonator,because they are not very loud, but sound is really nice! ;)

But that is just air tube you thinked? I don,t want to take out headlight, i want good air intake system, that car stays all original! ;) That,s why i think to find ITR Airbox with elbow and make cold intake from bumper, or find that CT Icebox and try! :) Just wanted to know maybe somebody have tested these Airboxes on dyno and VS Whale ***** intake! Just want to engine breath lighter! ;) :)

Concerning the exhaust, look at something with JASMA certification like HKS, Fujitsubo, Mugen, Tanabe, etc ... In general they are quiet in low RPM with nice sound in Vtec.
