First swiss EK9 (TypeRx) and modding story

Great Build so clean, you are lucky you no some folks in japan get parts nice and easily.
Love the gold mirrors,Lovely touch and something you do not see.

thanks mate :D Yeah the mirrors haven't been long on the market so i was one of the first to buy them as soon as i discovered them :D

Thanks for your comments guys- i appreciate! :)

Another order from the land of the rising sun is on it's way to me :)

I always wanted some real japanese tow-hooks (and not one of those 2423xxx US cheap replicas) but sadly they're not allowed in switzerland if poking out of the bumpers. So when i saw that GP-sports now finally released tow-straps made out of fabric at the tokyo auto salon 2013 i just had to had them: Probably the first set to arrive europe:
GP Sports japan G-Sonic tow straps:
1) Short version (will be installed in the rear)

2) Long version (for front):

Finally got one of those battery kill switches from wing takeo:

hope to be able to install suspension and wheels soon, but car is still in winter sleep due to the longest winter ever ...

Thanks to my mate Battosai i got a nice used EK9 console for a good price. This will replace the current one in my EK9 because the previous owner somehow scratched it really hard, probably due to usage of a racing-seat or something:

If the weather once will get better this year (baddest spring since 30 years they wrote in the news today) all these parts plus a set of Advan wheels are awaiting installation :D

Awesome build... Hope one day I'll get one as good :)

Finally i found some time to get some work done on the EK9 before summer is over :)
Installed my Advan wheels and lugnuts today and made a date at the workshop next week to install the Tein flex :) Im still so happy with my wheel choice. in my Opinion the best wheels able for the EK9 :)

Just picked up the EK9 from my workshop with the TEIN Flex suspension installed and the suspension stuff aligned. Man it's a total different feeling to drive. Not as stiff as my daily driver but much sportier and harmonic. great! Due to the bad weather i only made little teaser shot, but have planned a few things for the next days so i'm planning to take it out for better pictures soon:

As you can see it's "only" lowered 30mm in the rear and 37mm in the front. It's a 90ies car so i want a 90ies stance. Still usable on track and not slammed to ground. it's perfect as it is now! :)

These are the alignment data. please note the EK9 was not programmed in the alignment computer therefore they took the EK4 basic data and that's why some of the results are red (i.e. out of alignment) but that's just the printout in real life alignment feels perfect so far. total different level of driving now - can't be happier :)
