Fix rear Light & Vent Leaks

also worth noting that water can get in from the seam seals along where the boot lid is bolted down, along the weather strips of the roof and under the rear lights. If the sealant in these places is cracked/weathered even though it may be small, water will get in!
Yep my seams had hairline cracks and would let constant drips in when raining, sanded it back filled and painted now , no more wet rear seat

Hi folks,
Just want to add something here.....i had a few drops of water coming in, rear lights and end of the dash on far side of passenger footwell.
Did the rear lights with oem foam gaskets, sorted...
Then i had the windscreen re seated as thought it was from top corner where the roof gutter meets the screen, but at the time chatted to the windscreen guy and he advised me to do the gutters....but heres the important bit...DONT use silicone , essentially it wont stay bonded to paint for very long...
He advised me to use polyurathane sealant.....you can get it from Screwfix...brand name Sika....Sikaflex, sealant/filler/adhesive i think its the closest thing to the original sealant Honda use.
I took off the gutter covers cleaned thoroughly and masked off.......ran a bead in and carefully smoothed off, also did the seams over into the top of boot area where boot hinges are....
No more drips.....sorted :nice:
