Heyas,

I was considering adding fog lights to my front bumper. Just wondering how many of you added fog lights and if you think it looks nice. It would mostly look like this picture since i own a red EM1.

Would you paint them red or keep them grey ?

i have just bought them for my ek9 i think they look:nice: i would leave them grey but thats me .

I don't like the color combination. Why don't you paint your car green?? Joking....:D
Seriously, I would paint them red or......hmm nothing else really.
I've seen some fog lights on the rear bumper......please don't do that

I removed my fog lights from my ek9, In my country we don't need them because in my country we rarely need to use fog lights, but if you like the look, go for it :)

i was considering the fogs recently, due to the act that my car is black... thought it wopuld break the front a little... but have decided against now as it does look a little to clustered...

I took them off by replacing with a new bumper, you can't reverse it once it's done since you have to drill a large hole to snug the fog in. Now I have 2 front bumpers and I can swap whenever I feel like it.

It seems nice in some angles but sometimes I find the fog awards. Matching it with body color doens't make it looks goods. These are my opinions:

1. It looks good on 4drs but not on hatch, hatch is meant to be sleek and wild. It looks tame once your bumper is loaded with fogs.

2. It looks good on dark color EK, like dark blue, black, Milano red, leave the fog trims in stock gun metal color. For black EK, you can paint the trim black to match body. If you paint the trim to match body color, it will look really weird, especially light body color.

It's a matter of color matching and contrast that bring the fogs. It really depending on the color of your ride whether the fogs look good or not.

If you plan to put it on because you needed extra vision at night, then do it.

And don't get the chessy DEPPO replica, those are trash that wont' last.

Get the original RAYBRIC fogs.

I agree. ^^
However, if my car didn't come with foglights, it wouldn't be high on the list of what to do with my money.

Actually i think i'd get them from:

http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext00.html (just scroll to Fog Light part).

Or do you know if the Honda dealer here would still have them ?

And i think that it might look a bit weird on a white EK9. Tho, i think it looks pretty good on the picture i posted hehe

trep, the web you posted is the cheapest place to get, I got mine from there too back in 2002 for $123, it's original Raybrig.

Indeed, it's a matter of color matching that bring the contrast, the original gun metal trim look good on milano red, nighthawk black, electron blue, and those dark color, but for light color especially white I don't think it works well either have it painted matching body or leave it gun metal trim.

Painted, light color, don't look good IMO.

Original gun metal color, not bad but sometime it does look funny to have a big foglight trim there.

To each of its own.
