I will soon have some items for sale.
I have only sold 2 things on this forum but they have both been car's, very nice ones though.
Where abouts do i start the reputation thing....what section of the forum.
i mean i know i'll only have 2 people i've sold to, should this be ok.
they were both happy buyers.

250 Minimum post count required to sell items

I think this is harsh. I have 193 posts over 2 or 3 years and currently own an ek9. Yeah , I'm on the forum most days but don't feel the need to post most of the time.

I'm a genuine seller / person who has bought and sold a fair bit in the past and although I understand what you're trying to do can you not make allowances for the likes of myself and others similar as I think this is unfair.

i was in the same boat as yourself last week mate and so i contacted the moderators to see what the story was on the 250 posts and they replied saying it was in the best interests of everyone on the forum due to spammers, i can understand why the have to do so you may start building up your posts as this is what i have to do as well mate,

Seems ashame, now I have to build up my posts for the next month just to be able to sell.

I think 250 is a little harsh, was something wrong with 100?

Agreed, I've actually got a perfect set of freshly powdercoated Racing Hart CP035R wheels that I bought from youself only a few months back that I'd like to sell. They're perfect for an Ek9 but I can't advertise them now due to an insufficient number of posts.

I too think that 250 posts is bit too harsh. I am on the forum every day, but I don't have the need to post 10 posts a day just for the sake of posting something... On average I don't post more than 10-15 posts a month, that means it's going to take more than a year before I can sell something. I certainly don't see ek9.org as a place where I just want top get rid off my junk, neither I want to spam here just so I can reach the desired limit. What about lowering the post count needed and combine it with a certain amount of time that would have to pass from registration? If someone just wanted to sell stuff here I don't think they would be willing to wait for 6 months until they can do so. I don't have piles of stuff lying home so I am not too bothered, but as I will be bringing my 9 back to stock I'm sure a few parts will come up and I honestly don't want to pay the extortionate eBay fees...

I don't post here that much but i do read here often and try to help out others.Anyway i have some parts up for sale right now ,some of them which are meant for a EK9. Cusco 24mm rear arb ,RHD 1" brake master cylinder,Project Mu brake pads ,... If anybody wants to post it up here for me ,pm me.I bought several parts from members here before so i like to give something back now :nice:

the same thing with my status... iam registered since 2008 and reading nearly every day what's going on here. Don't need to answer on any thread, also because my english isn't the best in writing (as you see here lol)
Hope I get the 250 posts soon (without spam) to sell my nearly brand new buddy club p1 racing :(

Never understood this whole "cant wait to get my 250 posts" if you wanna sell that badly ebay it...

As for hondanick posting.items for sale in the section that is dedicated to explaining the 250 post rule... lmao at the irony

Yeah agreed with it seeming a bit high, just encourages spamming to get your post count up...

It did seem a bit high to me when I joined, but now I can totally see why it is what it is. As far as spamming goes - most regular members keep an eye out and report anything suspicious to the moderators, who deal with those issues without hesitation.

Just reading there about post count, how do you see your post count?

No, sorry, even Vip members and donators require 250 posts
