Front ARB

I was in the middle of replacing my front brake pads and discs and came noticed i have no front anti roll bar or droplinks.

I thought all EJ9s came with front ARBs or do some not?
 
I dont think they do, is yours a facelift? I know that on my mates preface he doesn't have any but the lca does have a tab for the drop links so you can fit one.

True. My Pre EJ9 had no front ARB, But I just fitted a rear one and it made for some fun oversteer action :nice: lol
 
Yeah my ek3 has a 21mm one so I'm not gonna gonna bother spending money for 5mm thicker ek9 one
 
My prefacelift EJ9 didn't have a front ARB, hopefully i'll get one at some point, I do believe everything is there to mount them, just need the bar and drop links and bushes?

Yeah all the holes are there. Might need the bolts aswell. You might aswell upgrade to an ek9 one, I did the ek9 front and rear arb swap....best mod I did!
 
Yeah, probably what i'll do next. Roll isn't ridiculous in them at the moment, but it's still a bit too much for my liking.
 
My facelift EJ9 came with a front ARB as standard, apparently some facelift models did come with them, would advise you get one on as it makes a hella lot of difference.
 
Yeah it seems that way, prefacelifts were forgotten about :( :lol:

Will deffo get one at some point.
 
My old 98 pre EJ9 had a front ARB, but my current 97 doesn't

Im going to upgrade to the front and rear EK9 setup, seems the best option :)

1996 - 1997:

NO ARB
240mm Brake disks

1998 - 1999 (EU):

Front ARB
262mm Brake disks
Frontgrill has changed (More facelift style)

> you can also call it the technical facelift

from 1999 (Japan from 1998):

Optical Facelift
Euro 3 engines
An additional Frame in the rear
Front and Rear Bumpers
