Alright guys i'll start from the begining. Those who know me know i had an ek9 a couple years back and loved it ! Sadly due to buying a flat with the wife it had to go to free up some funds. So then over a month ago now i finally decided to get myself another car and with the honda bug stuck in my system started to search for one. Ended up getting a dc5 which i loved but something somewhere inside me was screaming for another 9 lol so sold the dc5 and started searching again.

I picked this up on sunday:

spec: pretty much standard except a pro spec 3 buddy club exhaust and a de-cat

Had my eye on a black one but when i stumbled upon this by accident i fell in love !
The mission was quite a big one but had to be for me to get it.
Finished work at 10:30pm on saturday night and went home to get everything ready. My girlfriend finished work at 1:00am and the ferry to belfast was due to leave at 3:15am and the docks are a 2 hour drive away. I thought with a bit of luck and because it was so quiet we'd make it in no time. I called the docks on route to make sure everything was ok and they said the ferry would be delayed for an hour. This was great as it gave us more time to get there but then realised by the time we arive in belfast we would have missed the coach to dublin where the car was:nono:
It ended up the ferry didnt leave till 4:45am and they wouldnt let us in untill not long before then ! So me and my girlfriend were left standing in the freezing cold for nearly 2 hours waiting on the arseholes to let us in:angry: Anyway got the boat and that was fine arrived in belfast at 7:45am and got a taxi to the centre where we get the coach. Luckily there was a coach every hour so got a subway and that then jumped the 9:30 coach to dublin where then had to get a taxi to where the car was. Done the deal and had a 100 mile drive back to belfast to get the ferry. However doing 100 miles on the motorway with a buddy club spec 2 and a de-cat aint exactly a barrel of laughs either lol. So the girlfriend fell asleep with one of the loudest exhausts known to man screaming in our ears haha god knows how she done it. The ferry back was no bother finally arrived home at 10pm on sunday night had been up since 9am on saturday morning :(( 6 hours sleep and up at 4:30am to go to work on monday haha still aint recovered. Well thats my rant over sorry pics aint great still using **** camera hopefully not for much longer. Better pics will follow in the near future. Cheers.

Gav.

yeah weird how it works man saw the oppertunity and snapped it up while i had the chance :D but yeah saved a good bit buying there.

LOL :welcome: back man but what made you sell the DC5 for the EK9?:)

cheers lol, hard to say man just something about em... plus i was being bullied on the site for my poor show haha na not sure really as i say just something about them. feels like a go-kart compared to the dc5

The prices and the choice of EK9's and Jap cars in Ireland is mental! Money-wise, how much do you think you saved buying in Ireland over the same car in the UK?
