Edit: SOLD!

I’ve bought this a while ago for my daily EJ9, but since i bought a real EK9 now i have this one for sale. It’s a genuine, used but totally mint and great working condition EK9 Climate console panel. Only to be found in the Japanese (RHD) Honda Civic type-R EK9 models.
Including the electronics on the rear side. This one is from a facelifted (99-00 Kouki) model, but should also fit other Models, slight modifcations might be neccessary. If you’re interrested let me know so we can talk about pricing etc. Worldwide shipping no problem!

Was never installed since i bought it (maybe 4 years ago), and currently located in switzerland.

the one you get is exactly the one shown in the pictures:

these have become extremely rare and prices on ebay (if found) are currently around 350 USD + Shipping, i'll sell mine for 250$ USD + cheap shipping, or best offer!
PM me if interrested!

Do you have everything needed to put this into a EJ9?

Such as looms, motors etc? or isit just the panel?

No it's only what you see in the pciture. Means Control panel icluding the controller box on the rear.
For converting a EJ9 you also need a Loom, heater, blower, etc, because EJ9 has mechanical controlled stuff and EK9 everything is controlled by electric motors.

you dont need the heater boxes and matrix, only the motor and a bracket
i have the loom that goes into the back of the controls..

i have the sat nav centre console in my EK4

i wonder will this get rid of it?

the sat nav heater controls are all electrically controlled just like facelift ek9

this is just the panel with all the knobs and electronics control box on the rear as showed in the picture, for a complete swap from a different system you need more parts. if you already have an EK9 with A/C system it's a plug'n'play job.

I know a lot of people who use this kind of panel for racing because you can install custom gauges, switches and meters in the big double-din space ;)

So how does it sense the temperature to adjust hot and cold flow?
Surely not in that panel?

It doesnt sense the temp, you turn the hot / cold knob to how you want it, the variable resistor will change the voltage output to either increase or decrease the voltage output which in turn will move the actuators/solenoids.

basically this console will increase/decrease heat using electronic to mechanical (physical) movement.
Whereas the pre face console uses physical(mechanical) to mechanical movement using rods iirc

No.
The normal panel does this,
This has numbers to indicate the temp selected.
It's not a normal facelift unit hence 'climate control'

I have the same panel in my ek9, its either air con on or off or hot/cold air out. Im fairly sure it doesnt regulate air temps by turning on/off when its below or above a certain temp - you cant even set a accurate temp level.

Its either on or off at a set temp..

Sent you a private message...regarding this...so il definitely buy it off you....respond asap

Thanks :D

Surly for the auto climate feature to work you would need the temp sensor and small air pipe thar goes onto the drivers lower dash trim (just by the small grill above drivers left knee). There is a redundant wire there that would just plug into the pickup ther it may just fully work :)
Dunx

Exactly what I was saying.
