Taking a trip over tomorrow with the missus. Where's nice to get something to eat? Anywhere decent to go? Goos to see? I'm sure people who are from there will say no where or bad things as i do the same about Belfast lol. Any help appreciated.

I'm sure 99.9% of the forum could give you some good information as that were everyone is from lol!

paperinos is good on byres road in the city centre

as mathew said, not much to do in glasgow when the weathers as crap as it has been lol

It's pishing over here too so it's no difference. Just a change of scenery. I'll have to check those places out. See what we fancy. :)

Theres silverburn shopping centre its just big and useless really. Xscape for some fun mini golf. Bunchanan galleries, St Enochs etc. is there anything specific that might interest you?

I'd go see all the car places, but I'd doubt she would be happy lol. Nothing specific just something to pass the time lol.

i'm free in the afternoon tomorrow, fly me a pm if you wanna hook up :D

never take your misses to glasgow

theres too many damn shops to walk in and out of and clothes to try on and never buy !

xscape is a cool spot alright.... the skiing is good fun but not something you want to do if you have never been before

you can spot noobs pretty easily lol

****. I'll leave the credit card in the house then lol! I'm going to be tortured :(

A walk around town, loads of shops but. As mentioned the Grill on the Corner is a good place to eat.

Xscape, Transport Museum (never been myself but heard it alright). Loads to do but most of it is shopping aha

Always go to grill on the corner when I'm up visiting my Dad, really good food. Transport Museum is good but I've heard its moved since I last went. Some really nice parks to go for a walk in if the weathers good, Queens park is probably my favourite.

Is QP actually really good? Havnt actually been inside as I always hear there's always syringes, buckfast bottles and dead bodies lying about :p

Botanic gardens is alright too! West end is always nice!

Sounds like a good day out lol.

Go see a movie at the Glasgow film theatre (GFT) old skool quaint little theatre.
Then an Italian meal at pesto.
Both are in the city center within walking distance of each other.

The new transport museum is alright, wacky new building and some cool cars set on the Clyde.
