Got a track day booked for 29th July :)

Nice, 175 bhp, must be rapid!

I had a k7 600 a few years back with yoshi pipe etc,

Hope your track day goes well

Damn, makes my 600 look weak lol

172 was seen on the tacho at one point. How accurate that is I have no idea lol

Some more cheeky pics

So did a track day at oulton yesterday, had a fiddle with the suspension and felt much better. The rain was on/off in the afternoon but still managed to get out every session!
I was on michelin road tyres but was able to beat my best previous lap time around oulton by over 4 secs :) So now I have 1.55 sec to beat!

Pics of the day....

Those pics look phenomenal man!

Which tyres where you on exactly? The Michelin Pilot Road 2's I had felt so hard when I put them on, really had to think twice about squeezing the throttle at times :/

Found that they were graining quite badly on the rear around catalunya

Thanks man! They are DOT tyres, the michelin pilot power cup.

They were very good, the front is a medium compound and the rear is a soft compound (how the bike came) could have done with a medium on the rear tbh as it started getting a bit loose later in the sessions!

oh another quick question! I see you knee down like a pro lol

I could never really get comfortable leaning off the bike that much (hence my almighty chicken strips) at least not for the first few laps. Have you got any tips?

I'm only 5'10"

Thanks buddy! The photographer must have been good! Lol.

My best advice would be to forget about the lean angle to start with, just focus on body position when approaching bends. As you get more comfortable with that (foot position, bum position, shoulder position) you'll naturally start to lean more as confidence and speed builds up. There are a few bends I get my knee down where the other lads I go with don't, and vice versa, so knee down doesn't mean much really!

Always welcome to tag along on a track day with us lot and follow around etc and watch what we do.

I'm only 5'7 btw!

Awesome! Wish I lived close enough to a track to warrant a track bike. Its a few hours each way for me :(

This must be mental fun, paint scheme is really great too.

I've booked another track day, this time it's at donnington. I know I've only just done one but I just couldn't resist!

It's on the 14th August if anyone fancies joining in, with no limits £155 full day.

Did a Donny track day on the 14/8/14, great day out! Really good track, it was my first time at Donington but I'll definitely do it again!

My fastest lap was 1.46.0 on michelin pilot power road tyres, loads of room for improvement though, was taking it fairly easy so I could learn the track.

I haven't got any pics yet, but I'll put them up when I get them.
