HELP!! drivers door will not open

i got out of my ej9 locked the door went to the shop to get a few beers as you do, got back to the car and the key wouldn't open the door. the car has central locking from the drivers side. the passanger side opens fine so i can get in, but the drivers door won't even open from the inside.

About 15mins before this happened i gave my friend a jump start, could this have messed up the soloniod in the drivers door causing it to jam?
 
a jump start wont mess up no solenoid....they dont even have a solenoid.. they have relays,,,well maybe your latch got jammed,, meaning you will have to figure out a way to open it,,,taking the trim panel off,,,,with the door closed, and then once you open it you will need to replace it,,,,,have fun,,
 
problem sorted, used a long screwdriver to release the lock. i then removed door card and gave the lock a good grease.
 
hey im having prob with my passenger door it wount open with my fob but i can get it open from inside is very annoyin that i have to get in to the car to open the passenger door any help would do
 
its a common fault sticky locks had the same problem with my old 9 and again with the current one. I just removed the door cards and gave everything a good grease up that cured the problem:nice:
