But i really dont understand where the coolant leak?? i asked some mechanic, they said it could be the piston ring... RA.. can u tell me more specifically? thanks...
And i found that when im driving on road wit high rev, it dint have white smoke from the muffler... Only the dyno day, its blow out white smoke..
its a lot easier to see white smoke on the dyno, have someone drive behind you and surely they will the smoke. As RA stated the compression numbers are not what are the important part as each gauge is different, what you are looking for is consistancey, if all cylinders are say 200psi then you are good but say 3 cylinders are 200psi and one of them is 150psi then you certainly have a problem. Also take note how fast the needle goes up on the gauge, each cylinder should move the needle at the same rate.
What RA means by coolant leak is this: Our honda motors are open deck, what this means is that the only thing that stops water from going into the cylinders is the headgasket, if the headgasket does not seal properly (blown) water will go into your cylinders and you will burn the water which causes the white smoke.
