Hi everyone, need a little help.... I have a 93 del sol vti and yesterday it turn off while driving and I don' t turn on again. ...
One thing that i noticed is that the fuel pump is not pulling. .... I changed the main relay for a new One but I still can't hear the pump. ..... Today I'll try to put a p28 ecu to see if it's my ecu that aren "t good.....
Need some advice for what i need to check and How to see if the problem is on my fuel pump or in some cable or something. .... Need help quick cause it's my dayli car and my mechanic only can see it on the next week :(

If the fuel pump isnt kicking in you might need a new one happened me i swapped in a new one an off she went.

Is it easy to change???? Can I do it in my driveway? ???? I'll put a multimeter on my fuel pump and see if it comes alive. ...... For availability and hurry I may put a walbro 255lph. ........need to remap or something like that?????
But there is One thing, if the pump goes wrong the engine shut off rightly or it'll lose rpm till iddle????? Maybe I have a faulty ecu

Yesterday I changed the ecu for a working p28 and it do the same that it did with my p30, so it excludes the faulty ecu option..... I had a little hope that my ecu needs to be replaced so I have an excuse to put a new intake manifold\throttle body and re-map lol but it seems to be fine so I keep checking the problem.......
Today I take off half of my interior to be able to see the fuel pump, I was very happy to see that my floor is free of rust and insonorisation, less work for me on the summer since I was planning on removing that wheight..... The fuel pump didn't receive any power, so I need to check back what is wrong...... I check the cables from the dash to the fuel pump and where is my fuel cut it had a bad weld, last owners were great for my car, they mess up with everything........ It seems that it's that bad weld that made my engine shut down, I did a power check on the cables but still no power, so I re-check the fuse box and there it is the acg fuse broken, I didn't look at that earlier....... I put a new fuse and the pump work right away and my engine came alive again......

Hope that you can take anything from my experience, allways check the easy stuff first, and when you're done check everything before starting changing ecu's, pumps etc :)
