6000k i believe is the legal limit. this shows a bright white. 8000k shows a little tint of blue... whilst the 10000k and 12000k shows a purple colour, recommended for show :)

I never thought HID's were a good use of money. I know this has nothing to do with your question but thats just my opinion.

how good are the 6000k one's over standard lights?

HID is a brilliant investment when you find urself driving @ night. . .:nice:

my made fitted the 8000k convertion for under 200Pounds. there is a massive improvement of vision when compared to stock non HID.

6000k hid is actually a tiny bit blue, 4300-5000k is the white and emits the most light! this is the one i prefer, its the same one on honda s2000 :nice:

I like the light output of a car with HID's but having been in an s2000 I noticed that the drivers side light is angled down more than the passenger side (so your less likely to blind people of course) I didnt like it how the light just cuts off at that point, and with HID's if it doesnt abruptly cut off and keeps going it would blind other drivers. Its one of the reason why I'm on the fence about HID's, its good light but it doesnt shine UP so much. I'm fine with the normal spread on the stock lights.
