High compression turbocharged engines.

I appreciate all new cars are going to be turbocharged before long, but that doesn't mean all the old NASP ones are going to get converted, and we weren't talking about them anyway.

Just got a bit confused as to what relevance the post was to the thread, that's all.

Hybrid Turbo's will soon be available for tuners, not just new cars. Which means there will be no need to run high compression & FI to get past the lag and throttle response issues. Expensive N/A tuning will also be impacted by these Hybrid Turbo's.

Updated the app again adding in IAT and exhaust pressure inputs.

If anyone has any feedback it would be greatly appreciated. :nice:

I'll try using this tomorrow,
Pipe dream of b18c6 (11.1-1cr iirc) turbo track car that I'm trying to plan out.
Heat management is my main priority really, want to run as long a stint as possible, low power (270ish) just looking out for potential issues. Reliability is at the top of my priorities next to cost effectiveness, then power.

I think people worry to much about high cr with boost, all the cars in the states making huge power(1200hp+) are all over 11.0-1. If the race series you compete in allow it run a fuel with the highest knock threshold available. I know I will hence why I will be going with e85.

Seen a couple of high compression boosted builds on Honda-Tech, I am a bit baffled as to how these run without exploding. I see some guys wanting to run 15psi and a 14:1 CR, is this even possible?

oh god I can not imagine about 14cr, That is really amazing....lol

I run my ek9 with 12.1 comp, boosting 18psi with E85 and make 507 hp. The Problem about E85 is the you used more gas then the regular 91 oct..allot more...you require bigger injector and bigger pump..With the right tune you are ok boosting your car with high comp..
