I really like this car and i'm really thinking about getting one, any users have opinions? I may even consider waiting for the 2009 model which is completely redesigned. opinions please

Can look lovely!!!

It's a shame though that these type of small Japanese hatch's get styled more towards the Euro look.

Still a lovely looking car though but I feel the boredom of the car will set in rather quickly.

like boozer said they can look lovely, ie spoon fit and j's racing fit, but would you go that far with it blinx?
the results could be awesome.:)

Get an older model, as you do all your own work, install the K20, lots of tuning parts for the jazz. Best thing is if the police are hot on racers/modded cars where you live & who would want to steal it? :nice:

i think they are the dogs bolloxs :D if i had the money to get one up to the mugen standard i would buy one tomorrow :D
potential of these things is increible

when i worked at honda i borrowed one for a week and was well impressed, loved it!

I really like them too! As said lots of potential and rarely do u see one modified to a high standard looking JDM :D
Shame theres not a bigger engine varient than the boring 1.4 factory fit.

If your looking for a new street car with room, 4 doors, and gas efficiency, it's a good choice. The new version is way to girly, steer clear of that one.

As far as using the fit for a track car ect, a standard EK or EG civic is a way better choice.

i have no desire to track the fit/jazz it will be a daily driver, i hate to say it but i think i'm pretty much finished with the whole fixing up car thing for now, im not leaving the forum though, i love this place too much!!!!

Yea much prefer the old Jazz to the new one spesh if its jus gettin lowered that would jus set it off nicely. Front of the new one looks like a squashed FN and the back looks too much like the FRV lol.

ive seen them get flipped, i think its more the driver panic mid turn, like if the back kicks out and they brake instead of stay on the gas, the car is going to want to keep going forward but its sideways now so its gonna flip if you brake! just my theory, i could be wrong.

According to the owner of Spoon, I forgot his name....he said that the fit is very much a sports car with regards how the chassis and the frame are built. Honda used from factory the same frame reinforcing techniques used by racing teams to provide more rigidity to the frame. Its quite amazing how such a simple city car can be built to that spec. It was reviewed in a best motoring episode. Top notch car.

...so clean and so simple.

I wouldn't doubt the fits chassis stiffness and build quality, just it's center of gravity. Clearly it's designed as a commuter car with headroom, not a low slung track car.
