Honda Prices going up over next MONTH. ! :( !

Just to put you all in the picture Honda prices are going up
Over the next month 2.5% so if I was you stock up on oil
Filters ect. May not seem much but when you buy a lot
Direct from HONDA like i do all these penny's add up.

Any reason for this?

Honda does this every 2 to 4 years as they scale back the production of some of their older products. I just await the day Honda stops making products for the 6th Gen Civic completely.
Also since the Great Japanese Tsunami, prices have gone up accordingly. The last couple of price increases were in 2008 right after the world financial crisis. And last year right after the Tsunami. Its simple economics really.

I'm guessing that's the same with everything, I'm sure people wasn't expecting things to get any cheaper. 2.5% is next to nothing if you think about it say a oem oil filter at 9.99 it's only going to go up around 2-5 pence, really not worth worrying over. I'd be worried if it was 25% but not 2.5.

Yes I take in what you are saying. But let's say for instance you we're to buy the new civic SE 2.2 I-DTEC For £20.095 it's no longer 2.5pence extra you are paying it's £502.38 more that you were paying. And also if they were to keep putting it up Let's say 5 times over the next 10years that 2.5% has just jump to 12.5% the simple oil filter has gone up by £1.25.*

Im not worrying yet an Im keeping my 92 EG6 forever...!!!

It cost what it cost. Better get stocking up on parts you may need in the future

This would end up costing you more in storage than the amount saved
