I was looking for info on the Spoon stroker kit yesterday and anyone that would be able to supply and fit one.

One of the 1st hits via google was for http://www.inlinemotors.co.uk/index.php?categoryid=1 who amazingly are only 15 minutes walk away from me and based near wolverhampton.

I have been quoted £1000 to dissasemble and rebuild the engine with the kit and they will supply all the seals required.I supply the kit.

Alternatively, £1800 all in. This seems a reasonable price and I have already found one person on the Itr forum who has had this work done by inlinemotors.

Does any know anymore about inlinemotors and how good they are ?

I'm still in two minds about getting this done but its very tempting.

Got any gearbox mods m8? If you havnt I would look there for more speed if you are staying NA. A guy at my tuner has had his stroked, 4.9FD and cams, it screams to 10k but still doesnt really go much quicker because as he changes gear the revs still drop, he is now looking at the MF close ratio gears after a test in mine. This is why I would do the gears first then stroke it if it still wasnt enough!

My car is standard.

I've read different opinions about what else may need upgrading in order to get the full benefit of stroking the engine so it's hard to know who's right and who's not.

I was hoping the stroker kit was all that was required to see benefits. If not, then I may as well put money into other mods.

Don't forget the throttle body, the B18C one is bigger, ecu and intake.

You can start with this.
