Ive noticed alot of people asking how to change or is it a big job to change thermostat..so here is my view on it....
First make sure engine is cool. you dont want to burn yourself on hot coolent. now drain the coolent from the system from the bottom of the rad you will see a small bung..i collected my coolent and used it again..now got to thermostat. if you follow bottom rad pipe to engine that is the thermostat housing.
remove the pipe.
Now there are two 10mm bolts holding on the housing. losein them and pull off cap and you will see the old thermo now..just take out the old it sits under a rubber washer. make sure u put new one under the rubber lip.
now i used some sealer around the housing when i put it back on and basicaly same thing putting it back together in reverse..
Refill you system with coolent and let it bleed itself..let it heat up until thermo opens.knock it off let it cool. do a level check and should be all good..if anybody wants to add to this work away..
