Hello,
I just bought the below product hoping to connect it to my 1998 EK4 Civic VTI (B16a2). It's an OBD2 scan tool.
The problem is, I couldn't find any OBD2 connection slot on my car. I did a search in ek9.org and according to the below thread, my car is not equipped with such port.
http://www.ek9.org/forum/engine/34944-99-obd2-connector-port.html
The only connection that I can find that may be relative is the 2-pin service check connector.
My question:
Is there any way that I can connect the ELM327 scan tool to my car? Has anyone found a solution for such connectivity issues?
By the way, I need the scan tool for my android app for track racing (aLapHD Recorder). I will be attending a time attack at Istanbul Park F1 Circuit tomorrow and I want to analyse as much data as I can after the TA. Data such as, rpm, throttle position, load etc. If I can somehow connect the two pin service check connector to the scan tool by wiring, can I get any data from the device?
