Idiots that overtake you on speedbumps

Anyone ever have this happen? A road by me which is a 20 and smothered with speed bumps and zebra's as there is a school along it...

Yesterday was driving along, obviously slow and first gear over bumps when some spunk rag in a nissan 4X4 comes flying past me at atleast 50mph, i didn't notice until the last minute so couldn't do what i would of liked and sped up to keep him stuck on the other side.

It really boiled my piss.

Happens almost once a week on that road. Usually results in a 1st gear vtec moment and them being stuck at my side until they get back behind.

F*cking retards. /Rant.
 
Saw one doing that the other day. First time I've seen it happen though.
2 cars in front of a school going over a speed bump and a 3th car overtaking them. He drove an old Clio and first car was a big SUV so he couldn't possibly see if there was oncoming traffic.

That road is about 100 meters long so he had to drive really hard to overtake them before reaching the crossroad at the end of it.
 
Happens to me, I get right annoyed as well!

Speedbumps are there for a reason and yet these idiots think we are the ones in the wrong for taking them slow :angry2:
 
happens to me everyday mate pipol who just cant wait really annoying n sometimes even blew their horn on you :slap:
 
Yep this boils my piss too. However i do take them mega slowly and at an amgle to save my N1. Id probly over take me the time it takes me to get over some haha

Noone has ever beeped me. That would piss me right off.

The bad ones are those that your wheels go either side of. Any non lowered car can take them without slowing, I have to go over with 2 on 2 off.
 
If I happen to be somewhere where there are loads of sped bumps I usually just let the car behind me pass, cause tbh I crawl rather than drive over them...
 
a friend of mine's car was so low and it took him that long to go over the bumps, the police drove up along side him and told him he had to hurry up one night :lol:
 
Best to not do a thing about it, they will be nailed at some point by the police. Just let them go.
They may be on the way to a hospital with a baby on the way!

Or running away from a nuclear attack from North Korea? You never know!
 
It doesn't happen to me but all the time in a friends lowered BMW.

Just let them go as tama said it may be an actual emergency.

what i do is beeped them back for about 5seconds and stop to take a piss at them aswell,

as im on my winter wheels atm i dont need to go sideways as my car wont scrape but if im using my summer wheels then i need to go sideways but always slowly and surely just dont want to damage my mid pipe n spoon n1 specially my carbon type r lip,

Sounds like you need your own private roads! You sound like a top guy!
 
I got overtaken by a lorry on a stretch of speed bumps. Couldn't believe it!

I usually just cruise at 30, and if you don't like it then over take me. No point in driving like a fanny if you're not really in a rush for anything. sometimes I do like to **** with taxis though since they think they are king of the roads eh?

lol nah man i just want them to be patience coz going over the speed bump wont really take me 5 seconds or less thats why plannin to put a sticker at the back saying lowered be patient :nice: might be a good idea
 
Haha, I get this. I usually pull over and let them past if they keep their distance, if they sit right up my backside I go slower and block them :nice: And if anyone beeps at me they get two fingers out the sunroof :D
 
bmw deserve it for being german cars :p haha but no i used to get this all the god damn time in my 200sx and i couldnt plant it as traction was an issue just had to grit and bear it :/ not too bad in my civic though just inconsiderate twots on the road im sure theyd have something to say if it was a lowered car flying around at 50 on a flat surface {not the best metaphore but you get what i mean} :angry2:

Odd this happened to me last night and made me remember this thread, I was in a national limit road directly behind a tractor towing a massive trailer yesterday, large que behind me as doing 20 in a 60... I pass a T junction and there is a guy in a white Mitsubishi animal truck thing waiting to pull out, he must have bullied his way in and was about 5 cars behind me, as we drive into a 30 zone full of speed humps/zebra crossings he overtakes us 6 cars and the tractor/trailer flying over the speed bumps on the wrong side of the road!!
 
i understand your frustration at that kind of behavior but equally it can be just as frustrating if someone is going megaslow over them :D
