Hi All,

About 4 months ago I posted this video

It was a video made by my little brother, his inspiration was / is Initial D, so he gave it ago, and made a UK Stage Live Action Tribute, with no budget, a DSLR, and 1 sound device. The video was received well, especially on Initial D forums and being featured.

So here is ACT 1 (episode 2), my brother has been able to take the criticisms from the audience and what he learnt from making the first one and really apply himself to this episode whilst writing a further 3 episodes. Yes everyone wanted more story; obviously we don’t have actors so we got friends in to help!

I hope everyone enjoys it for what it is, my brothers 19 so is doing this in-between Uni, and really looking forward to making further episodes were more cars, and character development will take place.

OMG! The ending of the second episode! I was absolutely shocked. I had no idea! Amazing! It looks like you guys put so much effort making these videos.

No Azad no drifiting it would be to dangers and we would need the road closed fire saftey ambulance etc onsite, no money for that nor professional drivers.

Generally FWD and 4WD in an initial D episode would not drift, but grip run.

When's the next episode? I knew the 9 was coming! Take it this was filmed pre ring?

Yeah dude it was before the Ring, but the car is now cleaner, my bro spent 12hrs detailing it, full paint correction lol.

We start filming the next episode tomorrow :)
 
I love Initial D and I opened this thinking "Geez that's gonna be shite..." Well I had to eat my words, it's awesome!!! I expected bad acting and terrible camera, but it's all good really! Love the bold guy he's a character :D

Great effort there, good videos, alot of thought and time has gone into them :nice:
 
I know you guys aren't professional actors, just doing this for a bit of fun, but the acting could still be improved slightly, I think if you're having a passenger they should be sitting a bit scared haha, not relaxed with no expression. Otherwise its good stuff! Good story line pretty similar to the original Initial D!
