Jack's PY K20 EK9 now going K20/K24

No i had to cancel with tdi north becasue the gearbox started knocking. Its at Grinspeed at the moment being rebuilt with new bearings and mfactory carbon synchros. No video's yet sorry. I tried not to rev it to much when i took it to macclesfield as its running on the 2.0 map but vtec was insane when i did. No grip at all in first or second gear vtec on the 15" toyo T1-r's

I would say the centre box is nearly 2 feet long lol. I'll measure it later if you like. It was the biggest one that would fit in the space. The car will be off the road until feb/march now as as i don't want to drive it in all the salt and grit and i need to save up for mapping. I've got some other tasty parts to fit to

Here are some updates after my Christmas break.

My Honda CRV engine mount bracket finally arrived from the states after a long wait due to being on back order. The CRV mount allows all 3 holes to line up instead of just the top 2, and also mounts the engine a further 20mm up so extra sump clearence which is a big bonus.

Here is my Password JDM DC5 air intake chamber with velocity stack. The wheel arch mounted hybrid racing one is great for cold air but not good for wet roads. I'm just waiting for a silicone intake pipe to fit this now

Finally my wilwoods and ds2500 pads are ready to go on after chipping all the pink/purple paint off them

Thanks mate. Well here it is. First I test fitted it and everything was in the way. I moved the fuel pressure regulator onto the battery tray with a small bracket I made out of aluminium.

Then I had to relocate the power steering fluid reservoir further down so the filter would fit. I made a bracket out of stainless for this because it is a bit stronger.

Finally the fished result. Its not clamped up yet because I have a few things to check and tidy but it fits :nice:

Like the intake mate ill be keeping an eye on my karcepts one and getting one of those if it gets wet!

Cant wait for this to finished and mine is done, drives up the lakes on our weeks off :)

Yep we can :). It was a nightmare to fit and it still rubs on the side of the car so I'm going to have to stick some foam in it. There could be more room in an EG though you'll have to test fit mine

good call on the intake, im sick of dodging puddles with my karcepts:angry:

maybe someone have dyno test printouts of this intake in comparison with aem, etc?

I only did one big trip in the wet with my HR intake and i didn't like it. On the funky power website they claim a 19bhp increase on a stock engine. I'm not sure if it'll be that much but it will be interesting to see the results

In my opinion, without isolation and cold air from bumper this won't be doing the job...very much.

Time for a few big updates. It is finally booked ion for mapping at eurospec on the 12th feb. And my brakes are fitted but still need to be bled. I also fitted my RDX 440 injectors. I have sent my hondata K100 off to eurospec for a base map to be put on so I can drive down there.

Wilwoods fitted

Not much room between the calipers and wheels! I have also raised the car another 10mm on the back sop it matches the front. It has to be quite high for the sump clearence. I'm not to fussed anyway its not like a 4x4
