Japanese Kei cars ^_^

always been interested by these little cars

they are only sold in japan and have to meet strict rules

engine cant be anymore than 660cc and there body dimensions are restricted also

there are lots of companies that make kei cars and i thought id start a thread with all the cool models

post up some or even post up your own kei car if you have one

Always had a soft spot for a Beat, sat in one before, I think there's so many cool features, one I sat in was a fresh import for breaking, although a complete car. Zebra interior FTW!!

I would actually consider replacing my EK4 with some kind of Kei car if I begin to struggle to run it, insurance is crazy for the Civic and tax ain't cheap either so this may be a really cool cheaper alternative. Someone round my way has a Suzuki Cappuccino, really cool little roadster. Check out Best Motoring and Hot Version videos, Kei cars pop up from time to time.

Subaru do a kei car and it looks the nuts. Can't remember the name tho. Think it was also a collaboration of Subaru and another make. Im sure it has gul wing doors!

its a kind of a suzuki mazda thing lol

there are some crazy RE-Amemiya modified ones that look like Mclaren F1s at the back lol

I had a alto works before, had lots of fun with it, really shouldn't have sold it
Great cheap fun car but parts were abit nightmare, love to have it back tho.

My mum wants a Suzuki capachino. My mate had an Alto for his first car, never missed a beat and cost him a few hundered quid.

I used to drive a 1985 Suzuki Alto. One of the most fun cars to drive. You always had the feeling you where doing 150kmh, when in reality you only drove 75kmh
