There are only a couple of things to be done mods-wise to the car - close ratio gear kit and some nice anodised black brackets (although they could be painted I guess) to mount the wing behind the rear screen level with the roof line.

There are a coupld of vids back in the thread I think but I can't say where for sure!

I'm watching your engine build closely too, my motor will get the goods one of these days!

Cheers!

Great car mate, I'd love to see some in car footage of you overtaking other cars on the track :D

Who makes the front fender flares? I need some badly for my pre facelift and am having a difficult time finding some

I used universal fender flares that I found on a local e-bay type auction site, were pretty cheap.

They'll be going in the bin soon, got some body mods in the works... ;)

This project is awesome. This is my dream car. Keep up with good work.

awesome build mate as ive said before, and it just keeps geting better! :D

The car is on the local Honda Club stand in a show this weekend, and as part of the stand each car had a video made of its build. It's not entirely accurate, but you get the idea:

YouTube - The M.H.R 1600GT EK9 racecar

Enjoy!

I'm hitting the track again this weekend (Monday is a public holiday), and I finally have my camera bracket sorted so I'll have some more in car footage to show!

I may have just taken on board a new sponsor too, so stay tuned!

your car is awesome looks so sick (in a good way) keep up all the great work buddy !! :D

holy jesus i have jus spent nearly half an hour reading this thread . this is one hell of a build . jus never seems to end . keep up the good work :)

Thanks!

My engine builder and I were having a bit of a chat the other day about building an engine for time attack type events (known as SuperLap here)...

Maybe low comp 400hp B16a turbo? We reckon we could build one pretty cheap (for less than 2 grand local money inbcluding the engine) and it wouldn't need to be THAT reliable (only two or three runs a day).

I'm beginning to think an intercooler would look awesome behind the front bumper :))
