Jesse888 Forged/stroker turbo ek9

The car be very fresh now ,have you ironed out the hesitating?

Yep was dizzy, replaced it and it's noticeably faster aswell as no hesitation.

Right.
Rebuilt all the front lines with better quality fittings/Tees. Rebleed the whole car and no leaks yet.
Took the car out for a hard run on the brakes(about as hard as you can get on the road atleast)
Super easy to lock a wheel from anything under 50-60mph. I'm blaming poor tyres and the fact I've not had the geometry set since all the bush work.
I've also noticed the rear seems to bind slightly after you get some heat into them. Managed to lock the rear wheels on the handbrake!

So I'll be checking all the new joints daily and probably abusing the car daily aswell(why not?)
Eventually sort this alignment out and fingers crossed I've managed to seal the system this time!

Man that was a task! Nice to be able to control the car with the handbrake! Hehe ,

Yeah it's been a fair mission!
Hope I've cleared this up now.

Glad to hear you've sorted the brake pipes :D you must have been getting through some brake fluid ;)

Spoke too soon.
Lifted bonnet just now and got 4 leaky joins.
What's strange is they don't leak with pressure from the pedal but overnight I'll find alittle fluid on each nut.
Driving me mad if I'm honest

This may sound silly but you are doing the correct flares right? (Iirc it's a double flare) and all your fittings are the same, not imperial t pieces and metric ends or something silly?

Yep double flares all round with a tool worth £170. Bangs out perfect flares everytime.
Metric ends with metric tees.
Wound them in alittle more in an attempt to fix it, not holding much hope lol

Man that sucks! You've done all about everything one can do to fix it, but it still gives? I'd say you were gutted to see that again,:angry2:back to the :blinx:

I've obviously got something wrong but I can't see it. Yet.

So took a line off. Cut the ends off and reflared the line.
Before refitting inspected the new flares and noticed a crack in each end of the line....
So the flaring process has cracked the line somehow, ordered some new line from a trusted supplier instead of eBay. Hopefully the line is substandard or something and that's causing cracks when I flare the line, then causing the leaks...
Hopefully the new line will turn up tomorrow and I'll give it ago.

Cracks in them all ? Right pain that is .I was going to say compare your flares to the original honda flares and try and see if there is a difference? Bud hopefully it was substandard hoses,

I've not got any original line left so can't compare anything.

Are you just using copper lines or the kunifer stuff man?

Kunifer.
I believe it's copper-nickel. Waiting on some pipe in the post, should be here today

Ahhh right, when I made my copper lines I was told to be very gentle when I was cutting and bending it, apparently bending it a few times in the same place can work harden it and cause cracking. Hope you get it sorted soon man!

The new line is much better stuff but I'm still not sure I've fixed it tbh.
Should know by tomorrow morning.
It's strange how it only leaks overnight and not with a foot load of pressure behind it

Right.
Seems like it was the brake line all along. Flare it and it cracks...
Switch to a quality line from automec(well mini spares lol) and it appears to have fixed the problem so far.

Can finally get on with alignment and abusing the new brakes!
