Looks pretty good in red mate, i see you did the same thing as i did with the sticker on my spark plug cover sprey over it then peel off

Yeah and superglued the aem authentication sticker thing back on.

Thanks mate.
Ingot the hydro-shield and barely drive the car on the road, also got the inner wing protecting it from splashes so would have to be super unlucky to suck up water.
Haven't taken the car for a proper drive yet so can't really tell a difference ATM.

car and CAI looks very nice, too bad that im paranoid about CAI's, keep up the good work mate.

Thanks mate.

i wouldnt be worried about it, I ran the same AEM for 2 years with no hydo shield and I had no problems driving in the rain. As long as you dont submurge it in water you will be fine

That induction kit was on my car for easy 4 years never had a problem, don't listen to the pansies'

So alittle update before Bedford on Monday,
Engine was pulling a small amount of oil through the breather on the intake, I think with was the small puff of smoke I was getting at high revs while off the throttle.
So made alittle breather set up

Then had a problem finding a suitable catch can. Came downstairs on a Saturday morning and dad left an empty fosters can on the side, so I recycled it.

Also fitted my fresh track rubber and put them through a heat cycle ready for Monday.

Excuse the dirty car, will be washed once the new brakes are fitted.

Yeah on track I doubt you could have more fun/go faster for the same money.
Hopefully it will remain good weather for Monday and I'll get tot put it through its paces properly.

Agree, its all about the smiles.

Monday is supposed to be hot, track temps after a hot weekend too will be high i reckon. What compound you running?

GG medium compound. I'll only be out for 10-15mins at a time, or until the engine oil reaches 115-120. Whichever comes first.

Never tried Bedford so dont know how abrasive it is, but always felt R888s went of quickly in this heat.

Do you have a GoPro hooked up to your car? Do you use one on the Ring on the sly?

Have never used r888. So will find out how they are in the heat.
I hang my go pro from a suction mount stuck to the roof,(no roof liner) I used it on the sly last year but I think they are allowing them now?

Yeah I've read they are starting to be a bit more leanient, after spotting people stopping on track and fitting camera's, which caused and accident.

I was thinking of using mine with suction mount, but will have to put it on the passenger window, its only a small suction mount so quite discrete.

Hows your Tegiwa "Racespec" shifter, saw your post in the Transmission section saying your punching the dash lol. I was thinking of getting one, as mine has a CMS 90mm extender, the throw is longer but with the Spoon gearknob im not hitting the dash, was thinking of adding a short shifter in maybe.

I replaced it with a stock one about a week after that post. Couldnt get along with it the throw was really long!
