right guys not a great amount of detail, loads of pics missing from parts brought and fitted but it'll get better with time :)

copied from civicjordan.co.uk

hello guys,

i've been on here a while most of you know me, so i thought its time i started a build thread of some sort!!

only problem i have i haven't been taking that many photos of all the stuff iv'e been doing! but hey ho.

i'll apologise for the quality of the photos in advance :(

this is the car when i first got it! had a list of problems as long as my arm, but i got it fairly cheap so i couldn't really say no,

1999 'T' plate
63,000 miles

B18c-r ( the main reason why i brought the car, good base to start with) ;)
P73 JDM ECU
Carbon intake
SRS exhuast
ATR recaros
ITR rear seats
Koni springs and shocks
Powder coated standard wheels

i'll update spec list as i go through.

they are the only photo's i took of the car when i got it as i wasn't happy with all its niggles!!!

first thing i did when i got home was wash and clean the interior as it was a state, then change all the wheel bearings :( what a ball ache of a job!!

IMG_0352.jpg

next on the cards was get rid of the RSR twin loop, it sounded awful and was blowing from the centre somewhere!
got hold of a buddyclub Pro Spec of keith ;) took it to work and gave all the welds a once over to make sure no cracks appear, then gave it a polish and stuck it on!

IMG_0390.jpg

got hold of one of my mates In the USAF as i was after a few parts ;) couple of weeks later this arrived

along with a:

blox 2.5" decat
Accel 8mm ignition leads
New OEM DC2 oil cap

decided that a hamerite painted rocker cover was cutting it for me so i started to refurb mine back to the red wrinkle finish it should have :)

cleaned the engine bay, painted the block and various parts, got rid of needless brackets and tidied the bay :)

rocker cover finished and manifold, decat and leads on :))

The nice postman gave me some parcels, and they contained ..............

Meister R's
D2 LCA's
Complete set of new suspension bolts
OMP dished steering wheel and OMP boss
Skunk2 short shift
DC2 weighted gearknob
Tenzo R seat brackets ( for brides, no sliding rails, bolted strait to the floor)

got bored with the OEM lip, so decided on mugen rep lip, original plans was to get the lip colour coded but after a test fit i loved the colour contrast :) so its staying black

ive got to say the fitment of the lip is as good as OEM, i was amazed :D

browsing Ebay when your bored isn't good for your bank balance, i ended up buying a Seibon Carbon EK9 spoiler, oh well

wheels were my main headache since i got the car :nono:

i didn't want to follow the common trend of wheels on civics, although they are all very nice and tempting!!

originally i wanted either

Enkei RPF 1's
Enkei 2 Pc splits
Advan RG's

after a lot of searching and people letting me down, i got a phone call from one of my mates where i used to live, long story short he's breaking his TEG and wanted to know if i wanted his Mugen RNR's????? YES PLEASE

hardly ever seen RNR's kicking around so i didn't know how it was going to look when it was all done?????

9 hour drive later down to thetford, norfolk i picked them up :D

they have been sat on his TEG for 3 1/2 years so are in very bad condition, not an issue for me as my best friend works in a finishing shop :D

dont know what the last pic is?? meh :)

1 hour or so later all the wheels were shot blasted and looking like this .....

photo2-3.jpg

then the dilema started............ which colour :hmm:

Black
White
Silver

guess what colour i chose

i couldn't wait to get the wheels on the car, needed 4 new tyres quickly, so ended up getting 4 x TOYO T1r to get me by! took the wheels and tyres down to ladybank tyres quite a while later  they were ready to go on :D

heres the finished product along with a set of D1 Spec open ended nuts.

TBC........................ tomorrow as my fingers hurt  watch this space :nice:

once the coilovers and LCA's were on i felt like i was neglecting the bushes, so a week or so later this arrived ( obviously not a full kit still waiting on some others)

7da700c4.jpg

after i while of researching which intake i'd like next, i came to the conclusion that an airbox is the way to go, didn't really fancy spending £250 + on a mugen airbox, so the next best thing performance wise ....... OEM DC2 Airbox.

had a search round and after a week or two i managed to find one, it came with a Hamp replacement filter aswell

de99bcd8.jpg
