Hey,

Have my Jordan off road for winter atm and driving my yellow ep3 (fan of the yellow as you can prob tell haha).

So im starting to make plans for engine work and just want to know what your Jordans/vtis or b16's have made bhp?

Been thinking about putting in a b18 but would like to keep the original engine in it as i have alot of paperwork etc for it.

Currently have tegiwa mani and decat, skunk2 megapower catback and tegiwa intake.. do yous think 200bhp is realistic with a few more mods?

Cheers!

Plenty of research and information out there as the question has been asked thousands of times.

Realistically 180bhp is your max with bolts on before going into cams/head work pal. 200bhp out of a b16 n/a is going to cost a lot of mulah.

Google is your friend.

Ours has skimmed head, skunk2 cams and intake manifold, dc manifold spoon center and mugen twin loop back box. With a remap that makes just shy of 180bhp on a good dyno dynamics rr, about the same as a typical type r.

It made over 190bhp at dastek for comparison, so a good power hike is just another dyno away.

Before my a2 went kaboom it was making 198. Had a full 2.5" straight through system,
421 mani, BMC cold air feed filter, type r cams and a remap by Henry Roy. Going on that basis it can be done but as said it's gonna cost you to get it there!

I'm in the process of building my Jordan, currently has a tegiwa induction, mugen 4-2-1 manifold and tegiwa decat with an Mfactory short ration gearset on 3rd, 4th and 5th. Got some Type R cams and ecu to go on aswell as an exhaust system (not decided what yet). Will keep you posted once all done and dyno tested :)

Also a guy i spoke to who is selling his Civic cup EK4 said that he found the most power gains from running a DC2 airbox on his B16

Turbo, Standard internals with a bolt on kit will see 260bhp upwards :nice:

Dont regret a penny :drive:
