Just wondering on Insurance?

I have been around on this website awhile, and I did'nt know exactly where to post this. But are there any advice on insurances? And I'm not sure but I may of heard on this website that a insurance company gives discount. Because I can't seem to find it! I can currently get insured on one for about£2100. Which is quite high, but these are just online quotes from comparison companies. So I assuming I can knock down the price to a better one:)! I'm from the UK, Birmingham. Can anyone recommend me please?
 
thats very expensive!!! how old are you? thats crazy .i thought mine was bad at €1500
 
Just need to keep shopping around mate, i had £2000+ quotes but managed to get mine for a touch under £900 in the end.

Have you tried confused.com?
 
Wikd! Cheers. I'm 20, and the thing is that i go college and have a part time sales job so I can afford. I'm considering to part exchange with 55 plate Focus TDCi Sport. I'm really looking forward to this!

I tried confused.com, there are quite BAD for me. So far moneysupermarket.com is best, but still not good enough.

Yes we have a few restrictions like any other insurer.. minimum criteria for any car is aged over 19 with 2 years driving experience.

just out of interest, is a courier a riskier job than say warehouseman in insurance terms?
 
I wouldnt class sky as being the be all & end all, they quoted me £2100 & i ended up getting mine for £890 in the end!

Very true mate, we cannot insure and please everyone! We are most definitely worth a phone call if you are looking around for insurance though.

ah fantastic, some insurance companies are taking the piss when it comes to job,

personally i wouldve thought being on the road all day wouldve made you a safer driver, and its not like im going to use an EK9 for work....

But then again im sure theres some reason somewhere to hike the price up for certain insurance companies ;)
 
im 19 with 1 years No claims.....got insured for £1950 with bell....dont actually have an Ek9 yet but i will have soon hopefully lol!!!
