K20 EG Track Car.

Great track car build. Just the sort of thing I would build in the future of track day fun.

Look forward to seeing more...

S90's can be found cheap... was a little sticky at first but got better with the more miles I put on it...

Awesome work, very well spec'd EG track car

It will be a lot of fun to drive!

So after some clutch issues on track around about a month ago I had to replace the clutch again Tegiwa sent me a replacement clutch FOC and even upgraded it to a stage 3... got it installed and ran in just in time for another trackday at Cadwell on 31st, happy to say it held up well so hope thats the end of it!

Changed a few things, gone to 8x16 GTR wheels up front with 225 45 16 AD08's this has balanced the car much better in the fast corners but I still think its too stiff in the rear so may still swap spring rates.

I decided to fit doorcards as the rattling was driving me insane!

Fitted a cold air feed to the intake...

I also painted the valve cover in a more subtle color.

I have a few more plans for over winter including flocking the dash, new lip and some ducts for the bumper and a rear spoiler of some sort. I have some DC5 cams but they seem to have got damaged in storage so may not be usable, if this is the case I may get some Kelford 179A's dropped in along with new chain and tensioner and remap to suit.

forgot the camera on the track day but found a few clips with me in on Youtube...

Flyby over the mountain...

Skip to about 5.30 on this guys vid... I make an appearence. :)

nice... love this hatch!

do you know the weight of the r32 wheels?

Sounding well in the vid, I notice that you are using the new k-tuned Hall effect TPS... is it working well with your setup and did you get the right voltage set ok?

Yeah its been perfect, bit fiddly to setup, had to adjust stop on t/b etc to get the correct voltage but no worse than OEM type, not touched it since then... I went with it as my top hose is so close to the t/b and kept cracking plastic tps's on hard 1st to 2nd gear change... this uses a pigtail connector so offers much more room aswell as being billet so much tougher!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm currently building a k20 DC2 track car and I've been looking at these new type sensors as a reliable option. Since you have a positive experience so far I will invest in one myself :)

Been trying to find something similar for my preface ek9 so I can make another splitter up. Can't find anything flat at the bottom!
This is perfect though!

Funny hearing their comments on the nippy civic haha
