key fob brocken.?

hi does anyone know if my key fob could be repared or replaced as the plastic at the top has broken off, and now i cant get it onto my key ring without it falling off any ideas would help alot anyone ...? :)

I would just buy a new key from Honda. Have you tried using super glue? How is it broken?
 
it was broken when i bought the car , its at the top where it joins to the key ring not sure if glue would work ill contact honda and see if they still sell them :)
 
Mines done the exact same thing mate
I just use my key lol
I havnt bothered going to Honda cuz I imagine it would be expensive to replace and not really worth it
 
this is the second civic ive had with a broken fob lol, was thinking of buying one off of ebay, and swapping them over but im not sure if that would work m8
 
im sure honda do a replacement mate and its not that much! speak to michael p on the jordan forum as he works for honda and gets good discounts ;)

Yes Honda sell the replacement housing. Or I have had a car come over with a small hole drilled in the top by the broken bit with the ring through there . Seemed to work well.

The easiest way is to set up a photobucket account with all your photos then copy and paste into your thread on the jordan forum :) if u have any problems m8 jus pm me pics and i will put them up for you :)
