Thanks, yeah I think there are a few but lots of people have private plates so it's hard to tell. Yeah it cost enough lol
 
Welcome back! Still preferred your black 9 though :( haha! All the best with it :) OEM is king!
 
So a little update. Have it a good clean and went to the trading estate to have a little muck about with my budget camera a little while ago

Also installed a tegiwa intake on it. Matt at injection imports managed to source a new Fujisubo Legalis R for me for a very good price. I went for this system as it is very subtle and good for everyday use. I must be old as my ears are fairly easily offended these days

Looks lovely :) Keep up the tasteful mods, the Legalis R back box definitely has one of the best appearances in my opinion :))
 
Very nice choice of exhaust, would like one of them instead of the buddyclub dustbin I have, just don't think I could justify spending out on a new one and risk it getting scratched and dented
 
Really nice example you got yourself.

Keep it as oem as possible there's not much better than a standard ek9 imo!

A little update. I had been having trouble with an exedy stage 1 clutch I had installed. It was juddering hard on down shift and pulling away and was a real pain in the arse. After arguing with exedy and them basically saying poke it I bought a Honda clutch as suggested and will just have to take the hit on he bank account.
Here is a couple of pictures of it when we took it out, it had done 2500 miles

All the hotspots and bits are on one side of the pressure plate so I guess it wasn't completely flat and the flywheel was not so pretty either

Any way now it's fixed I'm really happy :) and we went for a little shoot with a couple of friends. We all like very different cars lol

I definitely won't be buying another exedy clutch in the future
 
Unlucky with the clutch! Love how clean it is underneath your car though! How is the Fuji backbox? I had it on my old EJ9 with the D14 and it was really raspy, always wondered what it would have been like with VTEC lol
 
Glad to hear you got it sorted, for standard ish power outputs you can't beat the oem clutch

It's a subtle system really. Like stock but deeper and a slightly louder. In vtec it sounds awesome but again not crazy loud. I would recommend it as daily system is really nice. I've got a video somewhere I'll have to post
 
That would be cool if you could. Your description is completely opposite of what I would have imagined. Do you still have the cat on? I just remembered my ej9 had a straight through pipe. I kinda prefer the OEM set up I have just how. The induction noise heard the from cockpit is good enough for me :p
 
Ek9 looks stunning, exhaust system is perfect an best exhaust system you can get for a civic/dc2, I have 2 complete systems my self :))
