Thought I'd get my coupe up and have a thread for it ,
Wish I had joined earlier so I could post my progress
I have the car a good few years now ,
So I will post what is done and will update it from now,
Also got car completely stock with d16y8 and went from
There.
This was my first mod eg9 rear seats, I also had front eg9 seats to match ,and wish I never got rid of them ,
Also put ek9 carpet in about same time.

I then got a custom fitted eg9 spoiler in carbonfibre,

I then put in a order for my carbonfibre booth lid to go with my spoiler,

this is a old pic of dash before I put in facelift ek9 dash and carpet and ek9 clocks and also that steering wheel is swede which I got rid of for leather one of the same ,

as you see in this pic the booth lid is damaged so rather then fix I got the carbon one ,
And the back box was loud got rid of that for a mugen twin loop

I then put order in for carbon bonnet carbon grill carbon spliter carbon eye lids and carbon mirrors , which changed the whole look of my car for the better.

I then had a ek4 sir sitting and sold the shell and put the engine from that into my coupe as I prefer coupes and I new the engine was a very good one , I then as you can see ordered a rad and other bits in the engine, over all I loved it car drove good but not great , yet!

I then braced everything up and put brace in the booth also and put the big crash bar behind the two bumpers and brace in the engine bay , the car really held the ground well and gave me more confidents in the corners , I also replaced all mounts bushing ball joints and wheel bearings, I also done rear disk conversion.

I then put in the ek9 facelift dash and ek9 door cards , gear nob is fixed now lol .

I got the rear lights that are the same as the eg9 lights and I think the car looks very similar to eg9 rear , just need to sort a square plate !

there is lots of other mods done the list of mods is on my introduction page post 4 if anyone is interested, I will leave it here for now till I fit my header and decat!

It was this car that inspired me to build my car something similar
I seen it on the Internet years ago but that's the only one of it I have now
And in the process I got to talk to the guy that owns it from ej8squad
Ha that was mad !

Jap pressed plates all round an a tad lower would finish it nicely methinks

Under my front carbon spliter is starting to scrap right through and kills me to look at it ,
Car is no trailer Queen as I daily her every were and never let me down,
Including a non stop run from Cork to Dublin and back to Cork in the summer gone and loved every minute of it lol

Ah cool i get ya man better mind the car rather than destroy it for the sake of a look. Still looks class anyway id say its nicer in person. Oh ya do u know Dwayne from cork? Or G from dublin ha Grey facelift coupe?

Been low is only good for the states not our roads ,
Ha can't say I do m8
 
Like a respray this year to keep her fresh
And would love to go boost .

wish I had the honda screen for dash ,
Been putting off sticking a Samsung tab into dash
Just need to buy mini amp and do it ,
As my 7inc tab 4 fits perfectly into dash ,
Think I will put a double din blank first and
Then somehow mount tab to it so I can take it
In and out of car .

Great car! Did you swap the rear eg9 seats easily?Did you need other parts apart from the seats?

Just the seat and inprovis from there you need to cut about 8 inches off both sides of seats and stich up , then it's a case of putting them in the best you can also you need to cut off the under hucs of the bottom seats just leave the outside ones to huc in to car , good bit of work in it :eek:
Also some kind of strips of steel.
I have pics of the process I will post up in a bit

How she is now gold dress washers are a nice touch I had gold bonnet spacers bit soon ditched them as some people were beeping me and saying your bonnet is open lol but I didn't like them anyway, they lasted a week .
