MUGEN ECU
fujitsubo cat back
fujitsubo decat
j's racing carbon fibre ram air induction kit
98 spec dc2 4-1
spoon socks
mugen radiator cap
standard suspension all round
one pic off the for sale ad
pics of when i got her home after a wee wash
update 20th/july/2008
got a clifford g5 alarm fitted there a few days ago.got the remote start and tilt sensor as well so i can start the car on the cold irish mornings from my bed.lol.and the tilt sensor will make sure no-one will steal my whels/center caps
from living in donegal you often see aroud 20 1.4 ej civics floating around with type R stickers so decided to take mine off as they where really bugging me, its terrible that even real type R's arent allowed to have the badges as every knob in donegal has them on their 1.4, so got a few jdm stickers when they where cool to be different but took them off a few monthes later as every civic in letterkenny seemed to grow the exact same ones as me overnight, :ban:
got a bit of decent weather so took some pics with the new stickers on

gave the car a full service as i had no idea when it was done last.changed the oil(castrol GTX 10W40),
oil filter (OE honda),
feul filter(OE honda
plugs (BKR6EIX-11 iridium)
and replaced the gearbox oil with land rover MTF94(mighty brew altogether)
also fitted MFactory magnetic sump plug with gearbox plug to catch any unwanted alien objects
purchased an OEM style carbon culture carbon bonnet.also got it lowered 40mm all round as the stock ride height was cramping my style. but as you can see it only really lowered the front of the car but it was only to tide mo over till i got a set of coils,
so got the car rolling roaded there at the weekend as my local tuning shop burnside auto organised the guys at west coast performance down in cork to bring up their portable dyno for a letterkenny shootout
managed to pull 174.8 bhp at the flywheel and 129ft-lb at the fly also.im not that dissapointed as i managed to beat two of my firends dc2 type R's who each got 168bhp and 172bhp so they where a good marker to compare results,
but all the figures on the day where a bit suspect as my mate has a DC5 who has proof of 257 at a dyno in AIautosport in northern ireland and he only managed 208 bhp on the same day as me on a dyno dynamics dyno, so dont post up a reply saying your siR was mapped in westward and made 190 bhp at the fly as ill gladly throw down the log book right now and take you out the road now bitch!!!!!! (rrfl:
some might call it a low reading dyno and some might call it a realistic dyno, you choose.

also a video
YouTube - leigh moore's EK9 on the dyno
so just kept the head down for a while gathering info on where best to go next

heard about the drag racing that was going on up in enniskillen so decided to take her up to see what time she would run on the quarter mile,so me and a few friends including loaf, keep_da_toe_on_her and daveypower all took our cars up for the run hoping to get a space to compete which wee did
on practically bald toyo T1S tyres i managed to pull constantly low 14 second and also pulled three times on 13.99, 13.96 and my best of 13.95 all @ around 102-104mph so was happy enough with that as there where not many honda up there that where running low 14's and only me and another that broke into the 13 second range
unfortunetly no pictures or video's of this, plenty of everyone elses cars but as per usual not me
kept the head down again during the winter
