A friend of mine has a barn in the middle of know where so we decided on Friday that we would go and hang out up there until the storms came so we could take some photos. I did a little video while I was up there:

I was chuffed with how the photos came out considering it was the first time i tried to shoot lightening :))

Thanks for sharing,pictures look great
After watching the video I ended up on a bit of a YouTube Honda video marathon.

pics looks great! whats the key to getting shots like this of lightning?

These photo's are electric! Lol. Cool pictures, always wondered how they were got.

I found lightening shots really easy to take. I got aload somewhere, although it did take maybe 600 shots and only 10 with lightening haha similar shutter speeds to you, maybe a little longer.

Yeh i know what you mean, i just pointed the camera and kept pressing go untill i got a flash while i was capturing. means a lot of waste but was actually pretty cool just watching the storm move around where we were then pass right over us.

Best lighting photos I've ever seen

Honestly there wasn't much to them, just framed (kinda blind as it was really dark), focused using a flashlight then keep pressing go until you capture a lightening bolt.

I'd have done a load more if i thought they'd come out so well.

Thanks for the positive feedback though :thanks: :))

Amazing man. What Camera and editing Software did you use for the video?
