Well have been off the scene for a while due to some crazy things happening to me this year... 2012 is not a good year for me so far, and we have only hit febuary...
1st thing - GramsN1 bought the ek9, took it out for 1 last little donder, skated on black ice, hit a dyke, plowed through some whin bushes, still having mental nightmares about it, Grams still bought it not sure what he's doing with it yet, was collected yesterday, needs a bumper, wing, light, engine is perfect and had just been serviced for him with fresh oil bit of a low blow for myself as id just got myself out of debt, basically to sum it up, back in debt
2nd - Done by the cops for leaving the scene of an accident and dangerous driving, Got my solictor on the case just awaiting for the letter from the fiscal or being hand delivered by the police... Dont see how avoiding a car accident is dangerous driving but hey ho, lets plod on with life
3rd - Off to carlisle i go to pick up my new car, 2002 106 white gti, 57K on the clock, 2 owners from new, 162bhp with cams, reworked head etc, always had a soft spot for them ever since my nana so seemed a suitable replacement and is a very clean shell... Lasted 2 weeks, bent a valve, head is now in bits
So yes 2012... **** you so far

Poor ek9 - Still feel sick to this day looking at these photos, Cant grasp how quick it happened or really remember, just remember fighting with it so much that my forearms were bright red/slightly bruised the next day, suffered a bit of whiplash but nothing major... Feel like a tool to seeing as the car was sold, Live and learn i guess

2002 White 106 GTI
57K on the clock, just turned 57k as it **** the bed, go you frenchie
The cleanest 106 shell i have ever seen, most of them have been jacked on the jacking points, this one hasnt which is a bit of a shocker for me lol
Every bush on the car is powerflex or poly, bit of a bonus
As mentioned in my top post, its either bent a valve or headgasket has blown... not to sure yet, lost motivation just now as i have so much going on, Will maybe know by saturday-sunday the extent of the damage
Spec:
Newman ph 3 cams (bought new and covered 2k)
DTA s40 ecu (bought new and covered 2k)
Ported and reworked head
Vaux coil pack and plug leads
CDA carbon enclosed air filter
Gaz coilovers
GTi-6 brake set up
Single pipe magnex exhaust (very rare I've only ever seen 2)
Supersprint 4-2-1 manifold (heatwrapped)
Compomotive CXR wheels 15 inch in anthracite wrapped in 4 goodyear eagle f1 tyres (bought new and covered 2k)
Genuine b&m quickshift
Powerflex polybuses allround
Powerflex lower engine mount
