So finally own my own ek9. Its far from what id like it to be but overall a clean start. The plan is to put it together over the next year or two. Not far from a full car but missing some of the essentials. Had a few other civics previously but nothing special. Will try keep this update as much as i can anyways and hopefully it all goes to plan.

Stopped raining for a short while so got the carpet out and gave it a clean with the the wet dry vac, camera doesn't do it justice but its easy see from the water how much filth was removed. Took out the back plastics to check out the quarters. Was pleasantly surprised everything seems rust free just a small bit of dust and dirt built up over time. Hopefully get them cleaned up and sealed as soon as possible.

Before:

The water that that came out of the vac afterwards

After:

Both Quarters

Finally got around to doing a few bits on the ek9, weather was dry for a few days so got to underseal it. Took a few days to get it all ready.
Hopefully get it back rolling again soon, all hubs are off and are going to get painted up aswell.
Going to replace all the bushes and everything related to the suspension.

happy with how it came out, the rear crash bar was rusted through so left it down to a local fabricator to fix it up, just needs some paint now.

tested some paint, just to see what the finish is like, happy with it so will be using it for the rest.

and how it is currently standing at the moment.

Is it a full car or rolling shell? Cool project best of luck!
