hi guys.... ive got b18c4. it does losing coolant on the reserve with no obvious leaks around the rad. and when i park it.. every after i drive it does have coolant on the reserve but when it cools down and i check it the next day reserved is completly empty but the rad. itself has coolant in it what seems to be the problem? thanks in advance....

have you checked to see the level in the rad, make sure that is brimmed, and then fill reserve up, then monitor it

yes it is full even if i only start the engine and idle for 30mins not driving it i fill the reserve up to the where max level is the following day its nearly empty.. and i notice there is steam on top of the rad. when on idle

Have you tried to bleed and burp the coolant system? Try to bleed it and squeeze both upper and lower radiator hoses repeatedly. Do this with the fan speed all the way up and the heat to the hottest setting. Keep doing it until the car temperature is at normal operating temperature.

Make sure that the coolant is going into the heater matrix. If the system is closed when inspecting then you open it, coolant will go there and level will drop.

if you are seeing steam on top of the rad are you sure you arent leaking from the rad core? or where the top plastic end tanks bond to the ally core? my oem one failed on the join.
