Had some fuel fitting turn up aswell from torques, ready to assemble my fuel lines in the bay

Also had the Ktuned electric pump and water plate turn up, so did a quick mock up of the plate.

As for weight saving

The oem water pump assembly and top idler etc without the alternator weighs 19.8kg Give or take

The electric pump and water plate weighs 11kg with out the alternator

Bonus as well the ktuned kit allows you to run a B/D Series alternator so smaller and lighter than the k20 one aswell

Few tidy jobs done this weekend.

Mounted the pull cords for the fire extinguisher and engine/ign cut into the carbon scuttle panel

Bolted the scuttle down

Made up all my fuel lines and got them all sorted, waiting for some nylon vice grips and AN spanners to turn up so I don't damage the fitting doing them up :D

All the lines and fitting are Teflon, only the best.

Some More progress :)

Put the exhaust on tonight, need to get it modified because it was built for a B series that's not a problem though :D

Ktuned inline stat turned up too

Flanges turned up, going to make up some custom brake ducts with these hopefully.

Oil pressure sensor for my race tech dash 2 with a adaptor fitting to retain the stock pressure switch

Few bits turned up from demon tweeks, all the dash2 accessorys, dash to ecu loom is obits way too, got the battery loom to the alt and started all sorted and wired in ready, dash loom is all back in.
Ecu is mounted and wired, shouldn't be long before we get ign and possibly start it! Haha

Love this build, everything is done t such a high standard!

How much of a headache was it doing the front panel? Mine has seen better days so I've been thinking about getting a new one and I like the idea of it being removable. Is there much hassle getting it lined up properly?

Secretly watching this on Facebook, looking sweet dude cant wait to see it done and out!

Decided it was probably best to move the radiator necks to a better place to save future problems, had a friend move and weld them up for me :D

Blacked the alternator out haha

Got the 74mm TB fitted and port matched to the RBC with ktuned billet TPS, engine is all wired up and sleeved now too

Also done a bit of wiring and sorting out for my digital dash and switch panel

Thanks mate, appericate it.

Uhhh well I bought a brand new front panel and literally hacked the old one off. Once you have the new one its just a case of drilling holes where you want to bolt it up and nut and bolts it. If you want to be fancy weld the nuts and make them captive haha

Who did your cage Matty?
Recommend them?

It's a custom cage's cage which I've put in myself. Wouldn't recommend them at all. Nothing fit very well, all had to be modified and re notched. Not what I expected from them, even when I rang up and told them they couldn't give a **** really. 4/5 times i tried and got nowhere

Yeah my last age was custom cages and I'd put it in with a buddy who is a welder.
Was a bitch to fit and that's probably why I don't want to fit another one lol

Yeah, I wouldn't have another one anytime soon. I think if the time ever comes again to have a cage fitted to something I will probably take it somewhere and have a full custom made.

This build is incredible, the attention to detail is unreal, makes me seriously miss my black 9 haha
