Dont see many threads on these on here so thought i may aswell stick a thread up on my new daily project :)

Sold my EG wich i loved to bits but needed more space.
Never been too keen on the mb series to be honest, always seen them as a rover 45 in disguise lol but im iver the moon with it for the price i payed for it tbh, ticks all the boxes:

Quiet, comfy and well specd
Fairly quick with the b18
NO RUST
Local car with full honda history
Loads of room
AWSOME Oem stereo! All the hondas ive had seem to have **** stereo's

Down sides:
**** suspension. Honestly dont see the point in the lsd in these. Cant complain though.
**** wheels. Cant afford some decent 15"s
No front lip :(

Some pics:

Not much to look at the moment but should looks alot better when ime finished with it.
- VTI-S lip kit
- dc2 shocks on lowering springs
- subtle quiet exhaust to replace the current pea shooter!
- 96 spec wheels.
- refurb the rocker cover

looks like a great wee car, good base for a project, keep the pics coming with the build :D

I have some rota spec r basically 98 spec wheels but 16 inches same stud patron as mb6 £350 i want and they are very good car tbh and really dose hold the road when you push it too

I love these I've had about 10 mb's lol

Will get some pics up for you to give you a idea what can be done with these

Love these, and like your plans! :nice:

Here was mine, on 96 spec teg wheels, and I made my own grill due to there being none available at the time.

Thanks man. When u say none available at the time, are ther now struggle to find any aftermarket parts for these tbh

Thanks mate, i was after an estate myself but couldnt find the right one a the right price realy. I havnt been on the motorway or any decent run
In it yet but its far better than my ek driving daily. When i work out some mog figures il post em up for you :nice:

nice cars, what about the suspension? Don't you feel the lsd grabbing?
I think its just tired for the awful roads round here realy. Feels like it would roll before youd feel the lsd grab lol. I do realise its not meant to be a race car. Just think the suspension is TOO soft to allow you to drive it with confidence at speed.

Thanks for all the kind comments lads, didnt expect much intrest on here at all tbh :nice:

Few little updates to follow soon :)

They look mega mate same look im going for tbh! Did the vti-s come with black headlights or they home made?

Lol thanx mate, the lights we did our self, if you look closer you can see we removed the middle reflector to give it a cleaner look

Ah yeah i see will be giving that a go at some point. Doubt il remove the reflector as surley it will affect the pattern?

is the gearbox irritatingly long, or does it match the torque of the b18?

It is a bit long yeah but the car is geared for economy not performance i suppose.

Well got a few things done since i last updated this, nt as much as i would have liked but just havent had the funds for wheels and coilovers yet.

Gave it a good service, flush, box oil etc.

Got the rocker cover off to do the valve clearences and thought id re-furb it while it was off.

Rear wiper motor had siezed up so removed it and replaced it with a gromet :)

Then finaly fitted a vti lip, transformed the front end imo and also attempted to make the grill look a little less ugly, the paint didnt agree with the primer i used for some reason so it went a grey colour , matched the faded bumps quite well though!

Next update will hopefully be some wheels or coilovers if i can free up some cash, always torn between spending on this or my ek lol.

I had one of these, great cars but really slow. I will get pictures up of it asap

Great cars for the price of them these days. Just bought one myself for the missus to use.

Got a build thread over on Civic5.com

http://civic5.com/forum/index.php?/topic/6874-mb6-progress/
Is that pirates black? Would love a black one or a vti-s, Been meaning to get a thread up on ther aswell but i forgot my login... The site seems a bit muddled though not too keen on it.

Yeah they arent very quick for 170bhp at all, i think the the long ratios kill it tbh. Not as bad on fuel as youd think though.
