Mil spec engine harnesses

I honestly don't know yet ref cost, although I think it should be sub £400. I'll be making mine over the next week(ish) so I'll have a better idea once that's done.

Im planning on purchasing and making looms, but would offer money for yours should you wish to send to me.

I'm looking into cable identification as the printers look hella expensive.

I would certainly be interested and could send my loom as an exchange as I won't be using the car. I'm using Grams injectors too so the connectors will be on my loom for that

Quick question, do you guys still use the iacv on your race motors? Only ask as working out what we can loose from the loom.
Cheers

I wasn't using mine when I was running ITB's but now that I'm back to a single throttle body I'm running the IACV again.

Just a quick update on this. I've now sourced all the harness connectors on a k20 loom so will be able to build looms from scratch.
Whilst I can certainly use actual mil-spec products it will be quite expensive, so as a compromise I've opted for a non mil, but extremely good cable and braid. So the wire where I think necessary will be one size up, instead of 85 degree c rating it will be 150 degree etc. I also now have heat shrink printer so that all of the sensors will be labelled.
Should have all of the remaining connectors shortly so I can mock up an example for you.

Be very interested in this as well. Difference in mine is the primary o2 sensor is still in place.

I'm just waiting for the last couple of connectors, once they are here I can start building the looms. Realistically I think I'm looking a couple of weeks before the first ones are made.

Yeah pink would be lovely it would match my roll cage :)
I'm a bit stupid when it comes to this stuff. Can you make me a loom to run just the necessitys inside too?

That's what I'm looking at next. Effectively a direct kswap harness. A complete plug & play engine-car harness.
If you wanted to send me your current car & swap harness I could probably build a new loom, but using your car side connectors.

I'd be interested in a race loom, I was looking at the Rywire harness for this anyway. You'd sell quite a few in the UK to people building MR2's/ Atoms/ Kit cars.

Well that's the wire landed. In the end I've gone for a mil spec cable, and superior to the oem cable in every way. It really is an absolutely quality bit of kit.
To give you some idea of quality these rolls alone (only 30m each) have just cost the thick end of £900 :-(

When you realise that the cable you've bought is that tough that none of your works strippers can strip it :-(
